How to enable Do Not Track Feature in FireFox 4:

Firefox has a Do-not-track feature that lets you tell websites you don't want your browsing behavior tracked. This article explains what tracking is, how the Do-not-track feature works and how to turn it on.

Most people do not know that their day to day browsing activity is being tracked by the website, advertisers and then sell or provide that information to other companies (like advertisers). This is commonly known as tracking.

Moon will be closer to the earth in 18 yrs this coming march

On March 19 the moon will be closest to the earth & will be looking Bigger, may be 16 percent larger which would be a spectacular scene after 18 years.

Moon goes round the earth in an elliptic orbit and that makes it come closer to the blue planet, the closest point being termed as the perigee, M P Birla Planetarium director D P Duari said.


The average distance between the moon and the earth is around 3, 84,440 kms."But at the perigee, the distance can be close to around 3, 57,000 km,"he said.


Rubbishing speculations that the closeness of the moon will lead to severe storms, earthquakes, volcanoes and natural disasters, the planetarium director said, "Given the decrease in the distance, which is imperceptibly small, it is believed that there is nothing to fear about the moon coming closer.

In future Mobiles Phones can be run for several months with a Single charge

Scientists at the University of Illinois are on the verge of developing a new battery which is having nano tubes instead of metal wirings, which powers the phone for several months on single charge. These batteries which the scientists say are 100 times more powerful than the existing ones.

The scientists believe using nanotubes — carbon tubes 10,000 times smaller than a human hair — the battery's life could be extended by up to 100 times, the Daily Mail reported.


"I think anyone who is dealing with a lot of chargers and plugging things in every night can relate to wanting a cell phone or laptop whose batteries can last for weeks or months," said Eric Pop, of Illinois University's Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology, who led the research.


"We're not just talking about lightening our pockets or purses," he explained. "This is also important for anything that has to operate on a battery, such as satellites, telecommunications equipment in remote locations, or any number of scientific and military applications."


The scientists, who detailed their work in the journal Science, said the research is just the beginning for improving battery life and hope to make devices' power consumption 1,000 times more efficient.
